1What Vault Is

Vault is a Non-Custodial Solana wallet with an approval gate. Your keys are generated and held inside a hardware secure enclave operated by Turnkey. A transaction is signed only when it matches an approval you created in advance, naming a destination and an exact amount.

Vault is software, not a financial institution. We are not a bank, a broker, an exchange, or a custodian. We do not take deposits, we do not hold your funds, and we do not offer investment, tax or legal advice.

2What We Cannot Do

Your vault's Root Quorum contains three credentials and all three are yours. Our key is removed from that quorum when your vault is created, and the enclave will not let us add it back. This is verified at creation time rather than assumed: if the removal cannot be proved, the vault is not marked as ready.

The consequence is worth stating plainly. We cannot move your funds, freeze your vault, reverse a transaction, or sign anything on your behalf, whether you ask us to, a court orders it, or an attacker compromises us entirely. You can confirm this yourself with the verifier.

3What You Are Responsible For

Keeping at least two of your three credentials. If you lose two, there is no path back into your vault, and nobody at Vault can create one. That is what Non-Custodial means, and it is not a limitation we can waive for you.

Checking every confirmation against the panel before approving. The confirmation is sent out of band precisely so that it can disagree with a compromised screen. Approving without reading it discards the protection you are paying for.

The accuracy of every destination address you enter. Solana transactions are irreversible. An approval sent to an address you typed wrongly will execute exactly as instructed and cannot be undone by us or by anyone.

4Fees

Vault charges 3% on top of the amount you send. You name what the recipient receives, the fee is added to it, and your vault is debited for the sum. Both legs appear on the approval you sign, and both are pinned in the policy the enclave holds, so the fee cannot change between approval and execution.

There is no subscription and no charge for holding funds. Solana network fees are paid separately to the network and are not ours.

5Acceptable Use

You must be legally permitted to use this service where you live, and you must not use it to launder money, evade sanctions, finance terrorism, or commit any other crime. You must not attempt to attack, overload, or gain unauthorised access to our infrastructure or to another user's vault.

Testing our security is welcome if you tell us about it. Send findings to security@vaultonsolana.xyz before disclosing them publicly, and we will treat you well.

6Availability

We aim to keep Vault running and will not promise uptime we cannot guarantee. The service depends on parties we do not control, including Turnkey, the Solana network, our RPC provider, and our email provider. Any of them can fail independently of us.

If Vault becomes unavailable, your funds remain yours. Export your wallet and import it into any standard Solana wallet. Nothing about your access to your money depends on us continuing to exist, and that is a design decision rather than a courtesy.

7No Warranty

Vault is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or secure against every possible attack.

We take security seriously and test the properties this product rests on rather than assuming them. That is not the same as a guarantee, and anyone who offers you one about software holding money is selling something.

8Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost funds, or lost opportunity arising from your use of Vault.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

9Ending It

You can stop using Vault at any time by exporting your wallet. We may suspend access for anyone breaking clause 5, or stop offering the service entirely with reasonable notice.

In every one of those cases you keep your funds, because we never held them.

10Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on @vaultonchain and reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Vault after a change means accepting it.

11Governing Law and Contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Questions go to support@vaultonsolana.xyz. Security findings go to security@vaultonsolana.xyz.
